Range admission

Lifetime range card
One-time fee for visitors age 18 or older. The card remains valid for life unless revoked under range policy.

Covers the full day and all three range areas. Return to the lobby before switching to another assigned range.
Rentals

Firearms: each for the whole day
Rental firearms must use ammunition purchased from Garland Public Shooting Range.

Targets and clays
Standard paper targets: 3 for $1
Specialty targets: $1–$5 each
Box of 90 clay pigeons: $20
The displayed clay price includes sales tax.
Replacement card

for a replacement lifetime range card.
No sales tax is charged on the range card or daily admission. Normal sales tax applies to ammunition, targets, and merchandise.
Gunsmithing and rifle sight-in prices
- Bore sighting: $10
- Scope mounting: $30
- Complete cleaning: $40
- Complete rifle sight-in: $40
Complete rifle sight-ins are performed on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Some basic repairs are also available; repair acceptance and turnaround depend on the firearm and requested work.
Payment
Garland is cash only. Credit cards, debit cards, local checks, and mobile payments are not accepted. An ATM is available inside the lobby. No ATM fee is promised online.
Hours
Open 10:00 AM–6:00 PM every day, including holidays. Walk-ins are welcome; no reservation is needed.
Same-day flexibility
You may leave and return later during the same business day without another admission charge. You may also use the pistol, rifle, and shotgun areas during the same paid day, but return to the lobby and ask staff to change your assigned range before switching.
