Garland Public Shooting Range is open 10:00 AM–6:00 PM every day, including holidays. Check the website and official Facebook page for active temporary closure notices.

No. Walk in during normal hours. Calling does not create a reservation or guarantee lanes, capacity, inventory, or wait times.

A normal first visit for an adult is $50: a one-time $25 lifetime range card plus $25 all-day admission, before optional extras.

Garland is cash only. Credit cards, debit cards, local checks, and mobile payments are not accepted. An ATM is available in the lobby.

Yes. The $25 daily admission covers the pistol, rifle, and shotgun areas for the whole day. Return to the lobby before switching so staff can change your assigned range.

Yes. You may leave and return later during the same business day without paying another admission fee.

The minimum shooting age is 5. Visitors ages 5–17 must be accompanied by an adult and remain within that adult’s arm’s reach everywhere on the range.

Yes. Everyone entering a shooting-range area pays normal daily admission, including non-shooting spectators.

Yes. Eye and ear protection are mandatory for everyone entering a shooting-range area. Each is available to rent for $3.

Yes. Every listed rental firearm costs $25 for the whole day and must use ammunition purchased from Garland Public Shooting Range. Call if you need to confirm that a particular listed model is available that day.

FMJ is allowed on the pistol range but prohibited on the rifle range. Hollow-point, soft-point, ballistic-tip, and frangible rifle ammunition are allowed, subject to the other range rules.

Yes. Available work includes bore sighting, scope mounting, complete firearm cleaning, complete rifle sight-in/zeroing, and some basic repairs. Walk-ins and drop-offs are accepted, but not every repair can be guaranteed.

Yes. Groups may walk in without a reservation. Groups of 10 or more are encouraged to call a few days ahead for coordination, but the call does not reserve lanes or guarantee space.

Yes. The lobby carries ammunition, paper and specialty targets, clay pigeons, eye and ear protection, firearm accessories, and basic range supplies. Call about uncommon calibers or when you need certainty about current stock.
